OPPORTUNITIES

At FBCSF, our prayer is that every member is actively involved in serving and glorifying God by making disciples of all nations. We have many opportunities to serve through our ministry teams.


Current ministry teams and the assigned deacon if designated for the team are listed below:


Baptism Support Team (Jeff Soulier, Joe Morgan)

The baptism support team provides support for all the baptisms that are celebrated at FBCSF. The team works together to prepare the baptistery for baptisms, to help baptism candidates with robes and towels during the baptisms, and to clean-up the baptistery area after baptisms.


Pre-School and Children's Ministry Team (Jeff Hildebrand)

The children's ministry team works with the FBCSF children's ministry leader to plan and support children's ministry programs and special events at FBCSF.


Community Ministry & Missions (M&M) Team (Unassigned)

The community ministry & missions team serves to encourage and facilitate the work of the body of Christ in the St. Francisville community. The team plans and supports community ministry & missions activities such as community evangelism, compassion ministries, and service evangelism efforts through FBCSF.


Greeter Ministry Team (Keith Devall)

The greeter ministry team welcomes members and guests to worship each Sunday morning. The team also helps to support greeter needs at special events at FBCSF. Team members are assigned on teams that serve on a rotating basis with each team serving one Sunday each month.


Hospitality Team (Jeff Soulier)

The hospitality team provides food and hostess support at special events at FBCSF, such funerals, quarterly business meetings, etc. The team members help in food preparation and coordinating others in the church to help with food preparation for large events.


Key Crew (Art Rodriguez)

The key crew supports the FBCSF Sunday morning ministry by helping to unlock and lock up the faciltiies before and after the service on Sunday morning.


Living Nativity Team (Cedric Palm, Jeff Hildebrand)

The live nativity team plans and supports the annual live nativity that FBCSF hosts each December. They are responsible for recruiting volunteers and the set-up and clean-up of the annual live nativity. Most importantly, the team works to make the event an evangelistic outreach to share the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.


Lord's Supper Team (Kevin Sterling)

The Lord's Supper team supports all celebrations of the Lord's Supper at FBCSF. The team prepares the bread and the juice trays for the Lord's Supper. The team takes care of the clean-up in the worship center when the Lord's Supper is celebrated.


Men's Ministry Team (Unassigned)

The purpose of the men's ministry team is to encourage biblical community among men in the church in order to strengthen men in their faith and life in Christ and to mobilize men to be disciple makers for Christ in their homes, our church, and our community.


Multimedia Support Team (Pat Landreneaux, Ken Holmes)

The multimedia support team supports the audio and video elements during worship gatherings at FBCSF. The team helps to run the sound board, run the slides for worship songs and sermon notes, as well as to record any audio and video for the outreach and teaching ministry of FBCSF.


Pew Crew (Unassigned)

The pew crew supports the FBCSF Sunday morning ministry by helping to keep the cards, pens, and hymnals stocked and organized before the service on Sunday morning.


Senior Adult Ministry Team (Dave Meredith, Jeff Soulier)

The senior adult ministry team works together to support the annual Keenagers program at FBCSF. The team plans and organizes the monthly lunch gathering for our senior adults, and they also participate in planning special events such as day trips, mission projects, and revival or prayer events.


Women's Ministry Team (Unassigned)

The ultimate purpose of the women's ministry team is to reach women with the gospel of Christ and to encourage women in their faith in our church and community through various avenues.


Youth Ministry Team (Scotty Owens)

The youth ministry team serves together to grow disciples of Jesus Christ among the youth in our community. The team plans and supports the weekly ministries in the FBCSF youth program, and they also organize all special events and youth fundraiser efforts in support of the youth ministry.
