Hello WF area worship team and choir members!
As part of the Community Prayer & Worship Service scheduled for Saturday, June 27 at 6 pm at Heminbough, I am putting together a community choir to lead the worship song, “Is He Worthy?” The theme verse for the event is Revelation 7:9-10, so the message of this song fits perfectly with the message that our area pastors plan to deliver through prayer at this service. My hope is that a number of members from each of our area churches will participate.
Due to the limited amount of time that we have to prepare, I am going to make this as easy as possible:
- Links to the song demo, performance track, sheet music and lyrics can be found below. Practice and learn the song on your own.
- The lyric sheet outlines which parts are solo and which parts should be sung in unison or harmony. Sheet music is provided for those who prefer to use it, but it’s not required. We won't do the Ooo's that are charted in the sheet music and the areas that we sing will differ slightly from the sheet music. The lyric sheet is the most accurate guide. If you typically sing harmony by ear, that will work just fine.
- We will rehearse together at 4 pm on Saturday in the FBC-SF Worship Center. That should give us plenty of time to learn the song together and get over to Heminbough in time for the service at 6 p.m.
If you are willing to participate, please let me know via text or e-mail so that I can make appropriate preparations (especially as they relate to social distancing guidelines) for the number of people who will be involved. If you are responding on behalf of your praise team/choir, please give me a total head count.
I am looking forward to a wonderful evening of worship with you and our wonderful West Fel community!
